— The Texas Initiative —
"That government is best which governs least." Attributed to one or all of these: Henry Thoreau, Thomas Jefferson or Thomas Paine.

The Texas Initiative is comprised of a few homesteaders who help each other and share products, services and ideas. They are also philosophically united in their conviction that they need less government, much less, and that America will recover only by a return to a self-sufficient and 'main street' way of life. They also champion freedom of expression and an end to the police state, objectives shared by the Wexford initiative with which there is cooperation, both on self-sufficiency matters and on one major international project.

They believe that we are past the point in the economic collapse of gathering others to survive, and that our survival will depend on anonymity. They add:"There are many of us here in the US who are preparing or who are prepared for the collapse. The commonality is that we had the foresight and fortitude to do so. We did this at great cost and sacrifice to our public and self image. We do not have the resources or inclination to act as a safe haven for just anyone who now needs help. This, of course, does not apply to friends."

The important message here is that like minded individuals exist in Texas and that alternative ways of surviving exist. We may not know for sure it's the right way or the only way, but it lets people know that they are not alone."

The videos below came from our Texas friends.

There is no recovery. There is a cover-up.
